Speedrun Squid: Press Kit

SpeedrunSquid is a wacky, physics-based, platforming game with arcade elements. Take control of a hungry squid exploring the ocean floor, grappling through rocks, perilous terrain and other dangerous sea dwellers. Reach for that ever-higher score, try to go faster, make crazy maneuvers and acquire awesome (or stupid) skins for your Squid. Speedrun Squid was first presented to the world in 2020, during a video from CDawgVA, a youtuber who invited one of our collaborators at the time to participate in this video. After that, we eventually realized the game would be an amazing mobile game, and we shifted its focus to the platform. It was our very first try on making a game accessible as well and, with the feedback and testing from Késsia, we were able to implement a high contrast mode and a slow mode in the game.
